Ronald Ngabo is a senior consultant- Business Development Manager at Horwath HTL, Rwanda
Ronald holds a bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management from Makerere University, Uganda and Mater of Business Administration in hospitality with Marketing from Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, Switzerland. He has over 7 years of working experience in the tourism sector, working with Rwanda Development Board (RDB), tourism department, Mount Kenya University and Rwanda Convention Bureau in different positions.
He commenced his tourism career in 2011as a tourism enterprises officer at RDB, in 2015 he became the Destination Branding and Marketing specialist and in the same year moved to Rwanda Convention Bureau as a Sales Specialist. In 2016 he started part time lecturing at Mount Kenya University in the department of tourism where he taught tour operation management. In 2017 he was elevated to the position of MICE Sales manager at Rwanda Convention Bureau.

He represented both Rwanda Convention Bureau and Rwanda Development Board at international MICE Fairs where he was able to negotiate and win MICE businesses for Rwanda which have greatly contributed to the growth of tourism receipts for the past 4 years. He has major skills in Sales and negotiations, marketing, event management, private sector engagement, training and teaching and promotion of foreign investments
